Buddy programs for international students

Target group: ALL international students at HHU who are looking for contacts to other international and German students (buddies) are welcome to join our buddy program. In addition, we welcome international and German students who have been studying at HHU for at least two semesters, who would like to share their experiences with international students from all over the world, and who would like to offer advice and support (mentors).

Objective of the programme:
Integration of international students at the HHU and promotion of intercultural exchange between HHU students and students from abroad.

Description of the programme:
The Buddy Program is aimed at ALL HHU students: from the first to the last semester. It brings students from abroad together with experienced students from higher semesters at HHU. These students support the international students. The focus is on topics related to studying at HHU and life in Düsseldorf. A trusting exchange develops. The students themselves decide how intensively they want to organize their exchange. We support them in this, for example by organizing network meetings or excursions.
